This past December Kurt & Lindsay united their love among friends and family in an intimate setting deep in the halls of the Grandover Resort of Burlington. As their wedding guests shared their wishes and congratulations for the new couple, it was plain to see the strong family ties that will be there support in the years to come.

This gorgeous wedding, set on the grounds of Greensboro College inside the historic Finch Chapel was pulled off superbly. An elegant and faith-filled ceremony reminded all of us why we are here. With their faith in Jesus Christ at the center of their wedding celebration and marriage, Matthew & Meredith Weddle are surely in for a wonderful married life together. Ricky & Padma had the most colorful and vibrant wedding! It was such an honor to be a part of something so rich in culture and family. TaflanPictures is excited to present Mr. & Mrs. Lehman with a video first of its kind: A Video Guest Book.
The Lehman’s had this great idea about 8 months ago and asked if we could do something like it, the funny thing was we had the idea about a year ago and haven’t had any couples ask for it yet! Needless to say, we were glad to oblige!
We brought extra cameras, lights, room dividers, and banners and made our selves at home in a side corner just outside the reception hall entry way. Throughout the evening we were setup for guests to come by and add their own little something to the couple’s wedding video.
We weren’t sure how popular this little idea would be, but the group of friends and family that accompanied the Lehman’s that evening made good use of our comfy couches! Below is a taste of what we could show to the public. The rest of the characters and antics, of course, will be sure to be included in Mr. & Mrs. Lehman’s Wedding DVD.

A good friend of mine got married this year in the gorgeous Prestonwood Country Club.
Their wedding was elegant and a fun celebration as their friends and families came in from all over to join in the union events.

Taflan Pictures Wedding Videography of North Carolina presents Trey & Krystal Swicegood with their own creative Vignette. Mr. & Mrs. Swicegood were not a typical traditional couple and know how to have fun. Their exit song, “Good Life” by One Republic seemed to fit with their entire day. As we look back over their beautiful wedding day, it’s easy to see that these newly-weds really will have a Good Life together.
Anh + Trang found us through our website (http://www.taflanpictures.com) and we met for a “Meet & Greet” at a local Coffee Shop to introduce our selves. What a joy it was! It was so nice to meet a couple so in love and excited to get married. Anh & Trang are from Vietnam, and if you know much about Vietnamese Weddings, you’d know they don’t happen away from their families. Well with these two still in grad school in the States, and their families still in Vietnam, normally the wedding would be put off. This was not the case with Anh + Trang, both their families consented to allow them to have a Traditional Christian marriage here in the United States, as long as they have another celebration back in Vietnam next year! And their wedding was so sweet. Their friends gathered around them as their exchanged their vows and lit a unity candle, all of which were new customs for them to experience.
Anyway, we were graciously chosen to capture their (first) Big Day in Photo form. We had such a great time, they really included us as a part of the big day’s festivities.

This past weekend I got to volunteer for my church’s ministry called the King’s Closet. While I was there helping organize clothes, find items for people, and generally help people stay warm this winter season, I decided to bust out my iMovie app on my iPhone 4 and see what I could cook up in the spare time I had on site. About 1 hr and 30 mins later I had this Kings Closet Video. Not bad for a phone! I might sell my MacBook Pro and Mac Pro tower if 2013′s iPhones are any better!

Ok I know, It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. This summer has proven to be a busy one. I just returned from Atlantis, where I shot a wedding on the Royal Deck! And I’ve been spending my weekends shooting and editing what I can while still finding time to get settled into our new home and first house. As if that all wasn’t enough goodness already, Olyvia and I have a baby on the way! I’ll just say “God is Good!”, and get back to my blogging for Jeremy & Jeannie.
I had the honor to photograph and video their special day at Pine Lake Pavilion in Mebane NC. What a beautiful location and what an incredibly sweet couple! I had such a blast shooting with these two and their families. Couples like Jeremy & Jeannie are the reason I can say I love my job!

April is such a beautiful time to be in Florida and this past April was no exception for Paul & Amy as they tied the knot in romantic Winter Park. The brick streets and iron street signs made for a picturesque backdrop for a wonderful event.
